Volunteer Gardening Opportunities – Children’s Centre Gardening Project

OLD OAK CHILDREN’S CENTRE GARDENING PROJECT

CAN YOU HELP US TRANSFORM OUR CHILDREN’S CENTRE GARDEN? GARDENING VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Role description:

4 hours a week (season dependant) – can be split with another gardening volunteer(s)

Knowledge of planning, maintaining and harvesting produce

Working with the Children’s Centre team and staff to help maintain it

If interested also to help to create and run gardening activities for our families

DBS check will be provided and gardening support given in partnership with Ginko Garden

Our goal for the garden in the Children’s Centre is:

Grow our own produce for our holiday hunger cooking programme

Run gardening activities for our families and the local community

Turn it into a more sensory place for children to learn and play
