March 27, 2020 in News by Old Oak Centre

We are adapting what we do at Old Oak Community Centre amid the Covid-19 outbreak and the Centre closure to support our community in Old Oak.

 We will be:

  • Extending our weekly phone check-in to our local community and those who attend our activities and session
  • Provide signposting information to local support and services
  • Taking our activities and sessions online where we can
  • Sharing useful online links on our Facebook page, as well as via texts and emails

Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter and join our mailing list to keep up to date.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Community Centre Closure

March 17, 2020 in News by Old Oak Centre

Old Oak Centre Coronavirus message 18 March 2020

We know that everyone is feeling anxious due to the
spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are following
government advice on how we can best manage
operations in community facilities and reduce the
possible spread of infection, particularly for people who
are most vulnerable.

Therefore we feel it would be best to temporarily suspend all
centre activities and close Old Oak Community and
Children’s Centre from 18 th March 2020, to help keep
everyone safe. The centre will be closed for a period of a month
with this crisis being reviewed closely.

If you have any suggestions on how we can continue to
support our communities please do get in touch.
