Merger with Peabody Completed

July 11, 2017 in News

Peabody and Family Mosaic have now merged. Family Mosaic is now a part of the Peabody group although its subsidiary name will continue for a while. As a result of the merger we now have 111,000 residents in 55,000 homes spread across 29 London boroughs, with over 2,000 homes in Essex, Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.

Our new organisation has over 155 years of history, experience and expertise. Our mission is to help people make the most of their lives by providing good quality affordable homes, working with communities and promoting wellbeing.

Our existing neighbourhoods, communities and care and support customers will continue to be at the heart of what we do. We are committed to improving our day-to-day services, particularly on repairs and maintenance. And at the same time we want to do more to help meet London’s housing challenge. We will do all we can to expand the number of new homes we build across all tenures, while maximising the number of low-cost rented and shared ownership homes we build.

New Peabody Chief Executive Brendan Sarsfield said:

We will put the most vulnerable first, building as many good quality homes for low-cost rent as we possibly can. We’ll create great places where people want to live. And we will help our people achieve all that they can in their lives through wide-ranging support and community programmes.

All customers can continue to access services in the same way and will not see any immediate changes because, for now, the Family Mosaic name will continue. Over the coming months we will be working to simplify the structure of the group. We aim to complete this in April 2018 and will update this website about progress.

If you are a resident of Family Mosaic you will receive a letter confirming that your tenancy will not change as a result of merger.

If you would like more information on the merger please contact pressoffice@familymosaic.co.uk orpeabody.direct@peabody.org.uk.

Old Oak Annual Summer Coach Trip – Choose Where We Go This Year

May 9, 2017 in News

We ask you all every year to vote for the destination of your choice for our Summer trip and we did the same this year.  Unfortunately we have had to pick the destination due to the high demand and unavailability of coaches in July to the other destinations.

We have therefore arranged for a Summer trip to Margate.

We hope that you will join on what will be a great day out for the family with lots to do and see.

Please come along and register for your place on 3 July 2017 from 10pm – 12pm.  This is on a first come, first served basis as places will be limited.

All places will need to be paid for at registration.

We will be travelling on Saturday 15 July 2017.  The cost of the trip is £8 per adult and £5 per child.
